Nuova Fima Group rides the innovation wave at Tecnargilla 2008

During the 2008 edition of Tecnargilla, Nuova Fima Group will present a range of new products and solutions meant to innovate substantially some of the fundamental processes in the ceramic tile production industry.

The Spezzano based group will display in its stand (Hall D1, stand 001) of nearly 1000 sqm the results of many man year of development that are considered pivotal within the its own strategic growth.

A significant proportion of the stand's area will be totally dedicated to decoration technologies and automatic systems for preparation and packaging of mosaics. This is an important opportunity that Nuova Fima Group has been studying and developing for a long time, with the main aim of offering greater value added to its customers. There will be the opportunity to see the worldwide presentation of ROBOCAD, a totally automated system for preparation of complex mosaic decoration by following a programmed drawing.




Another important innovation presented will be MAKROM, a new concept of decoration for ceramic tiles that offers great improvement in the quality of ceramic tiles. Patented by Nuova Fima MAKROM is the first system that combines graphic transfer with top fidelity and colour stability while offering a fast colour and product change. The technology utilized also allows transferring significant quantities of glaze that enables overlapping of several layers and obtaining thick reliefs that are usually not possible when using other decoration system available on the market. The graphic arts works can be obtained by a number of different methodologies and they can be produced by standard industrial photo engraving. MAKROM can be produced in large sizes allowing up to 126 different images to be on the same support.

Other products presented will be:

  • Processmaster 5G (pictured above) an automatic inspection system for ceramic tile to be installed upstream to the kiln and that allows a significant increase of first class tiles;
  • Gema, the digital decoration system developed by Nuova Fima together with Jemtex, an Israeli based company, leader in digital printing and decoration;
  • Flawmaster 4GX, Genusis 1202 (pictured below) and CPK T 1202, together to offer a complete line for inspecting, staking and packaging large size tiles, up to 120 by 120 cm;
  • CPK L, a new packaging system for listels up to 120 by 10 cm;
  • An LGV from LGWAY
