On January 2009, Nuova Fima opened a new Indian branch office to meet the demands of the continuously evolving Indian market. The new office, situated in Mumbai, is staffed by experienced, Nuova Fima trained, local technicians to guarantee to customers a rapid response to emergencies and to provide a constant local availability of spare parts.

The new office has been realised in conjunction with Eng. Shishir Betharia (pictured on the left), who has a long experience in sales of heavy tonnage presses, machinery and general services. Mr. Claudio Benassi (pictured in the centre), who has considerable technical and commercial experience in the Indian market, will provide commercial and technical expertise. The company will also be supported in the territory by the Area Manager Rakesh Srivastava (pictured on the right).

Stefano Mele, CEO of Nuova Fima, is confident that the new collaboration with Shishir Betharia will provide actual and future Nuova Fima customers in India the best possible support and assistance.
